Contestants on WILD 101 eat raw sushi to win WWE Raw tickets. Sushi provided by Mai Thai Sushi in Boise
The Holidays are a great time to give, but what if you don’t have anything to give??
Well we asked the community of Treasure Valley two simple questions...WHAT DO YOU NEED, and WHAT CAN YOU GIVE??
There’s ALWAYS someone that has less than you do, so we partnered up with the Boise Rescue Mission and gathered everything from clothes, toys, and furniture, to also helping people find jobs by sharing what they need LIVE on the air.
Others that were in need were able to pick up jackets for their children, themselves, or food for a few days.
It was an incredible feeling seeing people genuinely finding things that they could use, while bringing things that someone else could use.
Radio stations and their owners get SO consumed with ratings & profit, that they forget the station is there to SERVE the community!! I’m proud to be working for a company that doesn’t just talk about it...they get in there and get their hands dirty HELPING those in need in the community!!
It was a GREAT day!!

Jenny Slate Making her (EFFING) debut on Saturday Night Live!
JENNY SLATE DROPPED AN F-BOMB ON HER FIRST EPISODE OF "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE":
JENNY SLATE . . . one of the new cast members on "Saturday Night Live" . . . dropped an F-BOMB on "SNL's" season premiere Saturday night.
--It happened during a skit called "Biker Chick Chat" with KRISTEN WIIG.The girls were saying "frickin'" and "freakin'" a lot, but then Jenny unleashed the REAL word.
--In the skit, Jenny said, quote, "You know what? You freakin' just threw an ashtray full of butts at my head. You know what? You stood up for yourself, and I (effing) love you for that."She immediately cringed, knowing she'd made a big mistake.
--It's unclear how much of a tape delay "SNL" was working with, but somehow it slipped past the censors and aired unedited on the East Coast.
